Vol 122 - Editorial
Achieving global climate goals requires accelerated innovation across technology, policy, and resource management. This year’s volume presents a diverse collection of research that advances sustainable development and supports the global transition toward carbon neutrality.
The contributions highlight emerging solutions in carbon pricing, green materials, bioenergy, hydrogen systems, renewable fuels, and low-carbon food and agricultural processes. Several studies showcase the growing role of machine learning, IoT, and computational modelling in optimising industrial systems and improving environmental performance. Equally important are works addressing wastewater treatment, circular economy solutions, waste-to-resource technologies, and climate resilience.
Together, these papers reflect the expanding interdisciplinary efforts needed to reduce emissions, enhance resource efficiency, and build more sustainable, circular, and climate-resilient societies. We hope this volume inspires further innovation and collaboration toward a low-carbon future.
