Abstract

Experimental studies have been carried out in the field of obtaining carbon nanotubes (CNT) and Al2O3 - ZrO2 - Y2O3 composite reinforced with CNTs. Mathematical models of CNT synthesis and spark plasma sintering of a composite have been developed. On the basis of experimental studies and mathematical modeling, optimal conditions for CNT synthesis and sintering of the Al2O3 - ZrO2 - Y2O3 - CNT composite have been determined.
